Pre-production: lyrics
We decided to split the lyrics into sections/scene so that it is easier for us to know what exact shots will be used in each verse. This is so that we know what shots will look and work best in order can create a clear relation between the lyric and the visuals (lyrics illustrated by the visuals). for example, some sections of the song will be mostly narrative based displaying the relationship, location and the trio whilst other sections of the song will be more performanced based with more dancing and lip syncing.

Treatment Feedback
We pitched our initial idea for our music video which was then given feedback by our class mates on what they thought. A lot of the comments we received were positive as people mostly said that they liked the idea of us making a 90s theme video and the locations we chose. One location that they partially like was the TV studio green screen. This is because they thought it will create sense of uniqueness as not a lot of music videos these days use green screens.
Also, my teacher mentioned that audience for our music video would be quite board due to it being a 90s song that would also attract older groups who may recognize the song. However, since we mostly want to target a younger audience we will be adding a modern day twist especially though the mise-en-scene and narrative of the video. For example, we are going to uses hackney wick as one of our location as it is very colourfully and playful area which will attract more of a younger audience. Overall, we want to create a combination of both the old and new that would make our video unique but still conventional.
